Job summary

Dogtopia in San Antonio is seeking a Dog Coach to ensure the safety, health, and happiness of visiting dogs. You will supervise open play, monitor dog interactions, and support enrichment activities in a fast-paced daycare setting.

The role requires energy, responsibility, and a passion for dogs. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with front desk tasks, and collaborate with a team to deliver a safe, fun experience for dogs and their families.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dogs in open play and ensure safe, appropriate interactions between dogs.
• Monitor dog behavior and body language to prevent conflicts and maintain a positive play environment.
• Follow Dogtopia’s open-play safety protocols and intervene when necessary to redirect behavior.
• Ensure proper playgroup management and maintain safe dog-to-dog interactions.
• Immediately report any injuries, incidents, or concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary playroom environment and assist with routine cleaning duties.
• Support front desk staff when necessary and help with dog movement between playrooms and suites.
• Maintain professionalism when interacting with pet parents and represent Dogtopia’s brand values.

Canine Coaches supervise open play, maintain a clean and safe play environment, and support the overall experience for both dogs and pet parents.This position requires individuals who are energetic, responsible, and passionate about dogs.
