Job summary

Dogs for Better Lives (DBL) is seeking a full-time Kennel Technician at our Central Point, Oregon campus. You’ll feed, groom, exercise, and care for dogs, while keeping accurate records and supporting kennel operations.

Reporting to the Kennel Manager, you’ll work with volunteers, assist with tours and demonstrations, and ensure kennels and supplies are clean and organized. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass background and DMV checks, and physical ability to

• High School diploma or GED certificate required.
• Criminal background and DMV check required.
• Hearing must be within normal limits to safely work with dogs.

Responsibilities

• Provides general daily kennel care: scooping, cleaning, laundry.
• Provides daily dog care: feeding, watering, grooming, exercising.
• Maintains dogs' medical records and coordinates appointments.
• Ensures kennels and facilities are cleaned and stocked.
• Interacts with public for tours and demonstrations when needed.
