Doginhaus in Park City, UT seeks a Lead Animal Care Technician to lead a dog care team with a passion for pets. You will train staff, supervise daily operations, and ensure a safe, fun environment for all dogs in our care.

The role requires leadership, dependability, and a love for animals, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer discounted daycare/boarding for your own dog and a benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualificações

• Leadership and mentorship of a team
• Dependability and adherence to safety protocols
• Tech familiarity with kennel software
• Team-oriented with strong communication
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays
• Keen observation to ensure safety and comfort of dogs
• Love for animals and pet care experience preferred
• Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs+

Responsabilidades

• Lead by example to set standard for center operations and policies
• Train staff in roles and best practices
• Take charge in GM/AM absence and communicate upwards
• Oversee playgroup and manage dog behavior
• Learn canine behavior to keep dogs safe in kennels and play areas
• Maintain kennels and play areas; ensure high cleanliness
• Feed pets per owner instructions; ensure water and bedding are available
• Solve problems related to dogs and center operations
• Proactively take on tasks and collaborate with team
• Communicate effectively with team and pet parents
• Provide excellent guest service to pet families
• Follow safety protocols to create a safe environment
• Must love dogs and be comfortable around them
