Job summary

ADK Nine LLC is seeking a Camp Counselor for our San Ramon facility to help with dog care, play yard supervision, and light cleaning. You will also assist with feeding, cabin upkeep, and ensuring a safe, happy environment for dogs and their families.

Responsibilities include monitoring dogs in the play yard, checking in/out, maintaining a clean space, and delivering excellent customer service. The role requires energy, teamwork, and availability on major holidays.

• Must love dogs and handle messes with a positive attitude.

About the Job

A Camp Counselor assists with animal care, heavy cleaning, and play yard monitoring.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor dogs in the play yard.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Feed, clean cabins, and lift heavy items.
• Constantly walking and interacting with dogs and team members.
• MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT!
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Managing schedules and appointments.
• Checking dogs in and out.
• Be active and attentive to dogs and pet parents at all times.

Essential Skills

• Extremely energetic, outgoing, and upbeat with a positive personality.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace in a team environment and have exceptional customer service skills!
• MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!!!!!!!!

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Be able to lift dog food and supplies.
• Constantly walk and/or stand the entire shift.
• Available to work all major holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas

Availability

Hourly position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule - Camps are open 7 days/week, 6:25am to 7:30pm, weekends and holidays are required, but time off is permitted with advance notice.
