Deer Creek Mastiffs is a respected English Mastiff breeder seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. We specialize in breeding and raising quality Mastiffs, offering stud services, and providing exceptional care and love for our dogs and puppies.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate dog lover with a warm, positive attitude to join our team in caring for our beloved Mastiffs at our facility in New Park, PA. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes pride in their work and brings enthusiasm to every task. We value team members who demonstrate initiative, pay careful attention to detail, and approach challenges with a can-do attitude.

This role is perfect for someone who finds joy in working with animals and understands that maintaining high standards of care requires both dedication and a genuine love for dogs. The position offers flexible hours with a minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential for full-time for the right candidate. Requirements

• Previous experience working with dogs (neonatal puppy care experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of animal care practices, including proper handling
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Physical capability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to follow instructions accurately
• Availability to work occasional weekends
• Must own a smartphone with reliable internet access. We use Notion Workspace for documentation, task tracking and communication, and you will be able to access this from an app on your phone.
• Prior experience with Notion is a plus, but not required as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding and watering
• Clean and sanitize facilities to maintain a safe, healthy environment
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns
• Perform basic grooming services (bathing, brushing)
• Assist with dog training exercises and socialization activities
• Follow all written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Complete and document daily task checklists as assigned through our Notion Workspace
• Record important observations and notes in Notion for team communication
