Job summary

RcK9 in the United States (MA region) is seeking a Dog Handler / Care Attendant to supervise groups of dogs and lead structured play and enrichment while maintaining safety and excellent client communication. This is a demanding, physical role in a structured dog care and boarding facility.

The job requires someone who can work weekends and holidays, stay calm in busy environments, and consistently follow established procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Punctual and dependable attendance is essential.
• Experience with dogs is a plus, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely supervise and manage groups of dogs
• Read canine body language and interrupt inappropriate behavior early
• Lead structured play, enrichment and socialization activities
• Reinforce basic training and good manners throughout the day
• Help dogs develop appropriate social skills, manners and crate skills
• Care for daycare and boarding dogs
• Feed, rotate, crate, leash and move dogs safely throughout the facility
• Communicate professionally and positively with clients
• Clean. A lot.
• Follow RcK9's safety procedures and handling protocols
