Company Overview: Our Pet Resort is part of a larger company called National Veterinary Associates ("NVA") that operates over 1000 locations of veterinary hospitals and pet resorts. This role is service-oriented; you should be passionate about helping people and skilled in customer service. The Bather will be responsible for bathing our guests' pets, whether during their stay or as walk-in appointments.

A Day in the Life: The Bather's role involves caring for our canine guests—helping them feel their best and smell fresh. You will see the joy in their transformation and help make pet owners happy. Expect to get wet, handle fur, and possibly get some slobbery kisses. The job is physically demanding but rewarding as you help our furry friends become their best selves.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all guests are treated with respect and dignity.
2. Complete bathing services per pet parents' requests, including brushing, drying, nail trims, and ear cleaning.
3. Communicate effectively with pet parents about services, pickups, and relevant information.
4. Maintain professionalism and attention to detail in communication, whether in person, via text/email, or report cards.
5. Use computer systems to document important information about each pet.
6. Refrain from giving haircuts; grooming is the responsibility of the Groomer.
7. Complete baths efficiently, managing time effectively.
8. Maintain and restock bathing supplies; report shortages promptly.
9. Ensure all products are current and not expired.
10. Keep the bathing area clean and sanitized, following proper procedures.
11. Monitor pet health during baths and report concerns.
12. Follow safety protocols, especially with aggressive or escape-prone animals.
13. Adhere to resort pricing guidelines and review prior notes before services.
14. Coordinate with other departments as needed.
