Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a QA Engineer to support the Savannah River Site construction program, including civil, mechanical and electrical work and related site infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years in QA/QC on regulated projects, with working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 and DOE Order 414.1D, experience in QA programs, audits, NCRs and document control, and the ability to coordinate QA activities with construction, engineering and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience on regulated projects.
• Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 quality requirements and DOE Order 414.1D.
• Experience in QA programs, audits, NCRs, and document control.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, specifications, and quality program documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA activities supporting implementation of the project QMS.
• Verify compliance with ASME NQA-1 and DOE 414.1D requirements.
• Conduct quality surveillances, assessments and audits.
• Assist with NCRs, CARs, and corrective actions.
• Maintain complete, auditable quality records.
• Coordinate QA activities with project teams.
