A leading engineering firm is seeking a technical CAD draftsman to join their team supporting a Department of Energy customer at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in Carlsbad, NM. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in an engineering design office, proficient in modifying mechanical and electrical drawings using AutoCAD 2D. This full-time position offers competitive rates and excellent benefits, with per diem compensation available for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in engineering design office.
• Experience working with existing drawings in CAD.
• Previous DOE facility or related experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support DOE customer onsite at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant.
• Modify existing drawings for mechanical and electrical purposes.
