Position Overview

Located in Danbury, CT, as a Dodge Machine Operator, you will:

  • Operate multi-spindle screw machines, cleaning, packaging, and sorting equipment.
  • Ensure product integrity by preventing mixing, damage, or contamination.
  • Maintain setups by replacing tooling.
  • Inspect work to meet quality standards, meet production goals, and adhere to safety and housekeeping protocols.
  • Accurately record production data, including counts and time logs.
  • Set up and operate mechanical devices for printing, counting, and packaging to fulfill packaging and assembly requirements.
  • Prepare products for shipment through packing, assembly, and wrapping.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read blueprints.
  • Proficiency with manual micrometers.
  • Mechanical aptitude and computer awareness.
  • Previous machine operating experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand or walk for approximately 95% of the shift.

Work Schedule

This is a 2nd shift position with hours of 4pm - 2:30am, 3:30am - 1am, or 3pm - 11:30pm. Overtime is paid for hours over 8 per day, with Saturday and Sunday overtime available. Hours are mandatory for 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
