Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a qualified Windows Systems Administrator to join a team supporting a DoD Agency in Mechanicsburg, PA. You will manage, secure, and sustain Windows infrastructure for development, testing, and production, and notify users of planned maintenance and outages.

The role requires at least four years as a Windows Administrator, DoD Secret Clearance, and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications. On-site work in Mechanicsburg, PA is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct support for Cloud and On-Premise Windows infrastructures (Production and Development).
• Monitor and optimize system performance for reliability of mission systems/applications.
• Ensure adequate resources and coordinate with customers, teammates, and vendors.
• Communicate project status and resolution updates to management and stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls with the security team.
