Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• DoD SECRET clearance is required.
• DoD STIGs experience on Windows and RHEL systems and workstations.
• Proven system administration experience on Windows and RHEL platforms.
• Experience with ESXi virtualization and VMware tools.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and RHEL servers.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
• Monitor system performance for high availability and reliability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal teams.
• Respond to and resolve system-related incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and DoD STIGs.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments IAW NIST 800-53.
• Develop backup/recovery strategies and perform data backups.
• Test disaster recovery procedures and maintain documentation.
