Job summary

Raytheon in State College, PA is seeking a Full-Time Guard for third shift to maintain security of the facility and ensure a safe environment for employees. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. A DoD Top Secret clearance is required and active clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a security control center by monitoring CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm and HVAC systems.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies.
• Investigate unusual events and suspicious activities.
• Patrol the facility to inspect access points and conduct equipment, temperature and building checks.
• Open and close secure areas.
• Process visitors in and out of the facility.
• Make reports of violations, incidents, suspicious activities and facilities issues.
