Job summary

StratasCorp in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking two experienced Test Engineers to support enterprise IT systems testing in a DoD environment. You will independently develop and manage a comprehensive test repository across software baselines, OS, hardware, and networks, while building testing libraries for Windows and RMF compliance.

You will create, execute, and document manual and automated tests, analyze requirements for testing strategies, and ensure configurations meet security baselines.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of software testing or QA experience.
• Experience building and maintaining an enterprise test repository.
• Experience with RMF validation and security baselines.
• Meets DCWF Testing and Evaluation Specialist requirements as applicable.
• Degree or active qualifying certifications in IT/security.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage an enterprise test repository across baselines, OS, hardware, and networks.
• Develop and maintain testing libraries for Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and RMF validation.
• Create and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Analyze requirements to establish testing strategies, environments, and data.
• Validate configurations and security requirements against baselines.
• Support RMF-related testing and validation activities.
• Identify, track, and manage defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development teams.
• Participate in engineering discussions and reviews on testing strategies and QA.
• Maintain test documentation and repository records for repeatable testing.
• Support CI/CD integration of testing activities where applicable.
• Develop and report testing metrics and performance data.
