AGE Solutions LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer - Basic for a DoD agency, based in Columbus, OH. You will install, configure, test, and troubleshoot enterprise routers, switches, and telecom equipment, supporting WAN/LAN connectivity and network modernization efforts.

The role requires DoD-related certifications, US citizenship, and TS/SSBI eligibility. Travel up to 50% may be required; on-call support and 24x7 readiness are expected as part of the network team.

Formación

• Three years of network engineering experience.
• Experience in telecommunications network design and management.
• Experience with voice, LAN/WAN, wireless networks and network management systems.
• US citizenship and security clearances required; TS/SSBI preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and telecom equipment.
• Support WAN and LAN connectivity across facilities and DISN networks.
• Assist with network designs, installation plans, and implementation activities.
• Support IPv4/IPv6 addressing, routing, switching, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Conduct site surveys and document infrastructure requirements for new installs.
• Support telecom circuits installation, activation, testing and troubleshooting.
• Plan and implement network refreshes.
• Provide on-call and 24x7 response as part of the network team.
• Lead technology refreshes and modernization projects where needed.
• Develop network diagrams and installation documentation; coordinate with providers.
