Job summary

Alutiiq Information Managment, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, seeks a Technical Writer to support training efforts for an Additive Manufacturing Facility on Schofield Barracks, Oahu, Hawaii. The role requires editing and updating technical documentation in line with Army/Navy directives and local style guides.

You will revise manuals, maintain CM for publications, and develop training curriculum related to equipment operation and safety. A DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and editing technical documentation per Army/Navy directives.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain/reestablish.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Revise, redline, and publish manuals, guides, procedures and SOPs.
• Maintain configuration management for manuals, publications, and drawings.
• Prepare engineering docs including proofreading, data collection, and analysis.
• Develop and update training curriculum for equipment operation and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate complex concepts into clear docs.
• Maintain knowledge of military specs in an ISEA environment.
• Review and interpret Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR).
• Create/edit O&M, SOVT, ICD, IDP, and SOP documents.
