Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a full-time systems engineer to support a fast-paced Navy program. The role focuses on leading systems engineering processes, radar integration, and combat systems expertise across working groups.

Required are 15+ years in DoD systems engineering, Navy radar experience, and a DoD Secret clearance. A Master's degree and EM spectrum experience are highly valued. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with primary duties in the DC area.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of DoD systems engineering experience.
• Proven experience with Navy radar, Electronic Warfare, and/or combat systems design and certification processes.
• DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.
• Master's Degree and/or experience with Electromagnetic Spectrum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and act on behalf of the program's Working Group Leads ensuring the appropriate Systems Engineering processes across the program.
• Support technical interchanges and working groups with expertise in radar and/or combat systems integration.
• Conduct technical studies and develop systems engineering documentation as directed by program leadership.
• Produce acquisition documentation, meet critical milestones, and manage resources to priorities.
