Job summary
Watershed Security is seeking a Systems Administrator to install, configure, and support LAN/WAN and Internet systems across the network. You will monitor availability, perform maintenance, and assist with network modeling and planning, while supervising support staff. Onsite at Norfolk Naval Base, a DoD clearance and relevant certifications are required.
The role offers medical/dental benefits, 401K, paid time off, and educational reimbursement. Travel up to CONUS is possible.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2 years experience.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required.
- Certifications: CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP.
- Onsite work in Norfolk, VA, Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30.
- Up to 30% CONUS travel and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN and Internet systems or segment.
- Monitor network availability and perform preventive maintenance.
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, and planning.
- Supervise computer user and network support specialists.
- Administer network security measures onsite at Norfolk Naval Base.
