Job summary

Watershed Security is seeking a Cyber Support Analyst to join the team and deliver cybersecurity operations, risk management and compliance support. You will assist with vulnerability management, patch testing and remediation, and site visits to aid Mariners with patching and scanning of systems and networks.

This position requires deep knowledge of Navy/DoD cybersecurity directives and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, including travel up to 50% and a US Passport within 3

Qualifications

• DoD 8570/8140 IATLevel II or equivalent required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Knowledge of IAVA/B/T occurrences and associated vulnerabilities.
• Experience with vulnerability incident reporting and remediation patching.
• Ability to review DoD cybersecurity documents and provide feedback.

Watershed Security is a Veteran Owned Small Business with over 20 years' Cybersecurity and Government Contracting experience. Watershed is looking for a Cyber SupportAnalyst to become part of the team to provide service support in the areas of cybersecurity operations, risk management and compliance. Specifically, support vulnerability management, cybersecurity site visits to assist Mariners with patching and scanning of systems and networks, mission-based risk assessments, and all elements of compliance inspections. The Individual will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity directives and directives and procedures.

• Experience in information technology security
• Must comply with certification requirements identified in DoD 8570.01M for IATLevel II or equivalent
• Understanding of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and researching the IAVA/B/T occurrences within the following:
  • Vulnerabilities and risks associated with Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems and components
  • Vulnerability incident reporting
• Ability to perform patch testing of monthly patch release, apply approved patches to network environments, and perform remediation patching
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with reviewing and providing feedback on DoD cybersecurity documents, orders and instructions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to carry out this assignment with the ability to work independently and as part of a team on varying occasions.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools to include ACAS, HBSS, VRAM, eMASS, and STIG Viewer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• DoD 8570/8140 IATLevel II or equivalent
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Information technology security experience and 2 years of experience in the information technology industry
• Understanding of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and researching the IAVA/B/T occurrences
• Knowledge of vulnerabilities and risks associated with Windows/Linux OS and components
• Experience with vulnerability incident reporting
• Ability to review and provide feedback on DoD cybersecurity documents, orders and instruction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to carry out assignments with the ability to work independently and as part of a team on varying occasions
• Experience with cybersecurity tools to include ACAS, HBSS, VRAM, eMASS, and STIG Viewer
• Travel OCONUS and CONUS up to 50%
• Have or obtain US Passport within 3 months of hire

PAY RANGE

Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, educational reimbursement, 401K plans with matching, 15 days of PTO to start and 11 paid holidays per year. The proposed salary range for this position is: $40,000- $50,000 USD
