About the Role

The Warehouse Manager will foster a culture focused on safety, service, and cost efficiency. They will manage personnel, oversee warehouse operations, ensure safety and accuracy in receiving and shipping, and lead a team to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote safety culture and procedures.
2. Develop and coach warehouse associates.
3. Ensure effective communication and workflow.
4. Supervise and motivate team members.
5. Participate in hiring and performance reviews.
6. Oversee order accuracy and shipping preparation.
7. Monitor operational metrics and implement improvements.
8. Manage inventory and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
9. Schedule shifts and coordinate warehouse activities.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of warehouse distribution experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 10% travel required.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform activities such as operating forklifts, climbing, grasping, and manual handling as described.
