Job Title: Public Affairs Specialist

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: SkillBridge Internship (Up to 180 Days)

Eligibility Requirement: Active-duty U.S. military member within 180 days of separation, with commander's intent to approve participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program for 90–180 days.

About the Role:

As a Public Affairs Specialist at Elevait Solutions, you’ll be the voice of our mission—building public trust, enhancing brand awareness, and driving communication initiatives that amplify our impact. You’ll manage media relations, craft compelling messaging, and support internal and external communication strategies. This role is ideal for someone with experience in public affairs, strategic communication, or public relations, seeking to transition into the civilian sector with a purpose-driven organization.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement public affairs strategies supporting Elevait’s brand, mission, and goals.
• Write press releases, media kits, blog posts, and internal communications to tell our story effectively.
• Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key public stakeholders.
• Support executive communications, including speeches, talking points, and thought leadership content.
• Monitor news cycles and industry trends to identify opportunities for media engagement.
• Coordinate public announcements, media interviews, and press events with leadership.
• Create content for newsletters, social media, website updates, and other digital platforms.
• Track and analyze media coverage and public sentiment to refine messaging and strategies.
