Job summary

McGough invites Active Duty service members to join a DoD SkillBridge Internship in Project Management. This program offers mentorship, networking opportunities, and real on-the-job experiences across our construction projects.

You'll gain hands-on knowledge in project management while exploring various roles within the organization. Travel to project sites and multiple jobsites may be involved, with a focus on developing skills for long-term construction leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Duty service member seeking an internship through DoD SkillBridge program.
• Interest in project management within construction and real on-the-job exposure.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Crafting and sending bid solicitation letters to subcontractors.
• Performing quantity take-offs and basic math tasks.
• Reviewing subcontractor bids and identifying competitive options.
• Assisting with trade scope reviews and recap sheets.
• Drafting recommendation letters to owners and project stakeholders.
• Providing regular schedule updates to keep projects on track.
• Handling the RFI process and keeping information organized.
• Overseeing submittals and facilitating smooth project progression.
• Tracking punch lists and ensuring timely closeouts.
• Supporting project closeout activities and documentation.
• Monitoring the Cost Control Log and budgets where applicable.
• Participating in PM and corporate meetings to contribute ideas.
• Engaging in training and development opportunities to grow skills.
