Job summary

APTIM Federal Services seeks a Principal Environmental Engineer through the DoD SkillBridge internship to support nationwide remediation projects. This senior technical authority will lead environmental engineering efforts across the Government Remediation Business line, providing executive guidance and strategic direction.

The role requires a track record in DoD/CERCLA projects, a PE license, and leadership of engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible environmental engineering experience in DoD and CERCLA projects.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and ability to communicate with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical expert for environmental designs, characterization, and remediation plans.
• Lead development of strategic approaches and oversee compliance strategies during proposals and execution.
• Mentor and manage environmental engineers across projects nationwide.
