Job summary

A leading building materials supplier is offering an unpaid internship through the DoD SkillBridge program for active-duty military members. Participants will assist with departmental projects and gain industry knowledge through job assignments under direct supervision. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams. This role is designed to empower participants and provide valuable work experience before transitioning to civilian careers.

Qualifications

• Must be active-duty military in good standing with the DoD within the last 180 days of service.
• Must receive commanding officer approval to participate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various projects in support of the department.
• Gather and organize data for departmental projects or reports.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Skills

Strong oral communication skills
