Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of the fleet road equipment including tractors, trailers, Thermo King units, converter dollies, and maintenance vehicles. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Mechanics will also be responsible for documentation, completion, and updating maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily. The position will require performing road rescue as needed.
This application is only available to active-duty service members eligible to participate in a DoD SkillBridge Internship. The service member must be within the last 12 months of their active-duty contract. This is an unpaid, non-benefit eligible internship position in partnership with the DoD SkillBridge program.
