The mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fleet road equipment, including tractors, trailers, thermo-king units, converter dollies, and maintenance vehicles. The role requires ensuring compliance with all state and federal trucking regulations. Mechanics must also document repairs, complete maintenance logs, and keep them current. The position involves performing road rescue as needed.
This application is only available to active-duty service members eligible for a DoD SkillBridge Internship. The service member must be within the last 12 months of their active-duty contract. This is an unpaid, non-benefit eligible internship in partnership with the DoD SkillBridge program.
