Job summary

Leidos is seeking multiple Security Control Assessors to join our assessment team. These on-site roles may be based in Alexandria, VA, Fort Meade, MD, or Chambersburg, PA, with light telework possible and travel up to 80%.

You will conduct cybersecurity assessments, audits, and RMF/DoD-related evaluations, document findings, and support authorization decisions. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD IAM/C2 certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
• DoD 8570 IAM II or IAT II certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and 5+ years cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years in Certification and Accreditation/A&A roles.
• Experience with STIGs, SRGs, POA&M, and cybersecurity best practices; familiarity with eMASS, Nessus, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS; RMF knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments, audits, and inspections for DoD organizations and partners handling DoD information or connecting to the DoDIN.
• Evaluate systems and Defensive Cyberspace Operations using cyber threat emulation and testing.
• Adhere to policies and processes for each assessment type; document findings in eMASS.
• Coordinate logistics, test plans, and scope with the SCA Team Lead; provide risk analysis and mitigation recommendations.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge as needed.
