Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DOD Secret-.NET Developer to join our team supporting Department of Defense projects. You will develop, enhance, and maintain secure backend and frontend applications using Java and .NET technologies.

The role requires DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 (Security+ CE) or higher, 3–5 years of software development experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field. On-site location in Maryland with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and 3–5 years of software development experience are required.
• DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE) or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend and frontend applications for DoD projects.
• Research, design, and implement enterprise-wide software solutions.
• Work with Java, .NET, SQL databases, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Apply object-oriented design, patterns, and modern MVC frameworks.
• Use CM tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA, GIT/SVN) for version control and collaboration.
