Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Cybersecurity RMF Specialist to lead DoD IL5/IL6 RMF activities and manage the Body of Evidence for Continuous Authorization to Operate. You will liaison between Platform Engineers, Developers, and Government stakeholders to ensure robust cybersecurity across mission-critical software in a DoD environment.

The role requires 5+ years in DoD RMF, DoD cloud experience (AWS GovCloud), DoD 8140/8570 IAM III cert, US citizenship, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cybersecurity experience with DoD RMF and IL5/IL6 authorizations.
• Direct experience with DoD Cloud Service Providers (e.g. AWS GovCloud).
• Proven ability to independently lead coordination with government Security Control Assessors (SCA).
• Experience with eMASS and the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service.
• Knowledge of security scanning tools (Static/Dynamic).
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to brief senior leadership and stakeholders.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level III Certification (CISSP/CISM/GSLC).
• US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Bachelor of Science in Information Security or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Leading the end-to-end RMF process for DoD IL5/IL6 environments, managing eMASS controls, artifacts, POA&Ms, and docs.
• Coordinating Continuous Monitoring activities and security artifacts (STIGs, diagrams, HW/SW inventories, SBOMs) with the DHA Cybersecurity Team.
• Coordinating vulnerability scans (ACAS/SAST) and remediation with DHA Cybersecurity Team and Platform Engineers.
• Translating DISA STIG/SRG/NIST 800-53 requirements into actionable IaC security controls and assessments.
• Serving as the primary cybersecurity liaison for government stakeholders and briefing leadership on posture and remediation.
