Job summary

Persistent Systems, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) who will be part of the cybersecurity leadership team supporting a DoD program. The ISSM will have strong expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF) and compliance, managing all aspects of system security authorization. Responsibilities include ATO compliance efforts, risk assessments, and coordination with various teams. This position offers a total compensation of $134,000 to $163,000 annually, along with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience in DoD cybersecurity and compliance.
• Certification as required by DoD 8140 for ISSM role.
• Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework and NIST 800-53.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage ATO and RMF compliance efforts for DoD systems.
• Conduct comprehensive documentation audits for ATO/RMF compliance.
• Lead incident response exercises and vulnerability scanning activities.
