Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Cloud Computing Architect to act as the technical authority for classified and unclassified cloud environments, including IL5/IL6 AWS or Azure. You will guide landing zones, IAM, networking, storage, encryption, logging, and DR, ensuring RMF/ATO readiness and production readiness for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience architecting, designing, deploying, and modernizing enterprise cloud environments using AWS or Microsoft Azure.
5+ years of experience leading cloud architecture efforts and providing technical direction to cloud engineers, DevSecOps, and operations personnel.
5+ years of experience with identity and access management, network segmentation, compute, storage, encryption, logging, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities.
3+ years of experience developing cloud architecture artifacts, design patterns, technical roadmaps, and implementation guidance.
3+ years of experience supporting DoD RMF, ATO, security control implementation, and accreditation activities.
Top Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s degree; Security+ CE Certification required.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, modernization, and deployment of mission-critical cloud systems.
Translate mission, cybersecurity, and operational requirements into architecture patterns and roadmaps.
