Job summary

Metron is seeking a Project Manager to support program leadership in delivering contract deliverables on time and within scope. You will work with cross-functional teams to track expenditures and ensure adherence to budgets, while guiding schedule, risks, and performance across multiple contract types.

The role requires a US citizen with Top Secret clearance, strong communication, and robust organizational skills to manage complex DoD projects from the Reston, VA location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management in industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and presentations for various stakeholders.
• Outstanding organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED; background check for Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management, tracking, development, and delivery of recurring artifacts under Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).
• Maintain quality standards of contract deliverables/CDRLs and coordinate improvements as needed.
• Execute day-to-day financial management including monthly analysis, cumulative analysis, and forecasting in dollars and hours on various contract types.
• Develop detailed project schedules and manage schedule performance reporting using Microsoft Project or Azure DevOps.
• Identify risks, assist in mitigation strategies, and elevate issues to minimize impact on cost, schedule and performance.
• Coordinate inputs and write project documentation (status reports, minutes, presentations) with accuracy.
• Analyze resource allocation against program execution and deliver recommendations for modifications.
• Monitor progress for milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics; communicate status to leadership.
• Provide mentorship and professional development support to personnel.
