Job summary

Acuity Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, secure, deploy, and maintain our network infrastructure across on-site and cloud environments. The role focuses on firewall administration, VPN tunnels, network segmentation, and monitoring to ensure uptime and security.

Acuity Inc is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a focus on firewall administration and a security mindset to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to design, secure, deploy, scale, and maintain highly available network infrastructure both on site as well as in the cloud with Azure.

Our team's focus is on quantifying and improving the availability, reliability, security, and performance of our products and services. You'll collaborate closely with LAN admins and security teams to achieve these goals.

• As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure and cloud applications. Building site-to-site VPN tunnels
• Building network configurations and connections across LAN and WAN.
• Troubleshooting network problems.
• Network segmentation.
• Voice and Call Center system configuration.
• Designing and implementing monitoring and automation tools.
• A system operations mindset focused on maintaining uptime and addressing disruptions.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Azure.
• Experience with web networking, TLS, SSL certificate management, reverse proxies, and load balancing.
• Some travel may be required
• In depth experience with firewall administration, VPN tunnels, and multi-ISP routing
• Network access control (NAC) systems
• Network switch and AP hardware configuration and installation
• Network design, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Network segmentation that includes security limits with ACLs, NACs, and firewalls.
• Wireless network security with 802.1x and certificate authentication.
• Experience with OT (Operational Technology) network segmentation is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
