Job summary

Vision IT is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support VoIP, Cable TV, Digital Media Suite, and GSUs at Los Angeles Air Force Base. The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise communications and multimedia network infrastructure within a secure DoD environment.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and maintainable).
5–10 years of experience supporting enterprise network and telecommunications systems.
Experience with VoIP systems, voice gateways, and unified communications platforms.
Knowledge of Cable TV, IPTV, digital media distribution, or multimedia support environments.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and QoS.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP and enterprise communications systems.
Support Cable TV distribution systems, Digital Media Suites, and multimedia broadcasting infrastructure.
Maintain network connectivity and support for Geographically Separated Units (GSUs).
Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and voice gateways.
Monitor and optimize network performance, bandwidth utilization, and QoS.
