Life Cycle Engineering in Quantico, VA is seeking a NCIS Network Engineer Communications Engineer to lead enterprise network design and delivery. The role supports NCIS IT services in Quantico with a focus on Cisco UC clusters, routing, and security, reporting to the ITD team.

The position requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility and hands-on experience with high‑level network technologies. Start date planned for Q3 2026, with a path to contribute across defense IT operations.

Qualifications

• 10 years of computer system/network engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Cisco Client, DNA, and ASR routers.
• CCNP Collaboration or CLCOR exam completion required for VoIP roles.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains enterprise network infrastructure and Cisco Unified Communication Manager clusters.
• Monitors voice/video resources across multiple enclaves.
• Manages routing (OSPF, BGP), switching, and security appliances (Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower).
