Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support DoD hybrid networks, applying expertise in routing, switching, IP engineering, and Zero Trust principles.

You will work with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper gear to optimize enterprise networks, engage with senior leadership, and ensure security, reliability, and availability for critical systems. Secret clearance and a relevant degree are required; CCNP/JNCIP preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, deploying, and supporting DoD hybrid networks with Zero Trust.
• 2+ years implementing network segmentation and SDN/SD-WAN.
• 2+ years documenting complex network and security architectures and ZTNA implementations.
• 2+ years with BGP/IS-IS/OSPF/MPLS/LDP/RSVP/VPLS/L3VPNs.
• Secret clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise DoD network architectures.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and improve security, reliability, and availability.
• Document network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Engage with senior leadership and guide problem-solvers to modernize capabilities.
