Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to support our DoD customer in Huntsville, AL. You will work with a technical team to maintain networks, systems, and applications while pursuing a Secret clearance.

The role emphasizes configuring and supporting networks, backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity in a DoD environment. Travel up to 10% may be required and a Bachelor's degree with CompTIA A+ certification are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree completed and CompTIA A+ certification required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Strong troubleshooting of basic network, hardware, software, and system issues.

Responsibilities

Set up, configure, operate, and support internal and external networks.
Maintain network, system, application, and security configurations.
Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
Install and support network hardware, software, patches, and system updates.
Provide technical support and guidance to system users.
Assist with backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Document configurations, changes, troubleshooting activities, and procedures.
Support cybersecurity and DoD configuration-management requirements.
