Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to support a DoD mission in Huntsville, AL. You will set up, monitor, and troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications while collaborating with a skilled technical team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, CompTIA A+ certification, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. Up to 10% travel and contingency on contract award are noted.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic network, hardware, software, and system issues.
• Position is contingent upon contract award.
• Up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, operate, and support internal and external networks.
• Maintain network, system, application, and security configurations.
• Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
• Install and support network hardware, software, patches, and system updates.
• Recommend upgrades, patches, applications, and equipment to improve system reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to system users.
• Assist with backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Document network configurations, system changes, troubleshooting activities, and procedures.
• Support cybersecurity and CM requirements in the DoD environment.
• Coordinate with other technical personnel to resolve issues.
