Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator in Huntsville, AL to build and maintain networks, systems, and applications for a DoD mission.

You will work with a technical team to troubleshoot and ensure system availability while adhering to security and configuration-management requirements. The role requires a completed Bachelor's degree, CompTIA A+, and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed
• CompTIA A+ certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• 1 year of IT or networking experience
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environments
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, operate, and support internal and external networks.
• Maintain network, system, and security configurations.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Install and support network hardware, software, patches, and updates.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Support DoD cybersecurity and CM requirements.
