Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE) seeks a supply analyst to manage item inventories, plan materiel finance, and determine requirements and allowances. The role includes DPAS/APSR processing, coordinating distribution, and ensuring lifecycle management of assets within defense programs.

The candidate will develop data-driven analyses, prepare reports, and liaise with OEMs and planning teams to time procurement and transport. A DoD logistics background with APSR experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• AA degree and minimum three years of technical supply management experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with DoD APSR systems such as GCCS-A, ALMSS and ELMS.
• Must have secret or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

• Compute and accumulate data for analysis; help develop work standards and methods; conduct inventories and reconcile inventories within DPAS and APSR.
• Prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports and policy data; operate supply systems to provide equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate material support and knowledge of materiel management activities and schedule.
• Maintain liaison with inventory managers and vendors to schedule procurement, delivery, or emergency transportation.
• Perform storage, inspection, receipt of property; plan distribution of supplies among stations.
• Communicate concisely in technical matters; execute Material Strategies to support customer requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, automation, etc.).
