Job summary

Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) seeks a skilled manpower management specialist to optimize military and civilian staffing across major DoD programs. You will analyze requirements, develop metrics, and coordinate with stakeholders to align personnel capabilities with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has experience with FMTS and DCPDS systems, and can navigate DoD processes to support manpower planning and policy development.

Qualifications

• 1) Specialized experience managing total force manpower requirements for military and civilian personnel programs.
• 2) Ability to analyze manpower requirements and produce metrics or reports.
• 3) Building and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders; utilizing manpower systems.

Responsibilities

• Reviews/analyzes DoD directives and proposals and supports coordinated positions.
• Monitors distribution plans for military, civilian, and contract manpower requirements and authorizations.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to organizational manpower needs for projects.
• Coordinates with Headquarters staff to develop policy guidance on manpower and force structure management.
