Job summary

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Logistician (Specialist) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, supporting the PM PNT program. The role involves managing lifecycle logistics, fielding coordination, and providing field support.

Responsibilities include planning logistics activities, implementing ILS and RAM programs, reviewing reports, and coordinating with engineering to address obsolescence management. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree required or equivalent; degree preferred in operations management, supply chain management, or related field.
• At least ten (10) years of total experience as a logistician in a DoD environment.
• An additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination of system fielding and implementation of field support.
• Implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems.
• Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations.
• Reviews logistics documentation (e.g., maintenance reports, asset reports of fielded systems, readiness reports).
• Collects obsolescence management information from OEMs and consolidates obsolescence management reports with engineering.
