Job summary

JECC seeks a System Administrator to provide technical support for workstation and networked peripherals in Norfolk, VA. The role covers installation, configuration, operations, and Tier 1–2 troubleshooting across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and service-provider environments.

Collaboration with Government service providers and the C5 support team is essential to enable JECC’s operational mission. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with duties during standard hours and on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of system administration or enterprise IT ops experience.
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS) and MS environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, operate, and remove JECC-managed servers.
• Provide Tier 1–2 system administration support.
• Manage user accounts and permissions (NIPR/SIPR, Office 365, SharePoint).
• Maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals; update baseline images.
• Ensure security compliance; use government ticketing and reporting systems.
• Support IT ops for exercises, deployments, conferences, and events.
