Job summary

ORBIS Inc. is seeking a highly skilled QA Specialist to support mission-critical IT systems and ensure compliance with DoD and NMCI standards. The role requires advanced Excel and Microsoft Project expertise, plus NMCI ACTR familiarity and an IAT-2 level certificate. U.S. citizenship and a secret clearance are required.

You will lead QA across IT SDL efforts, develop QA plans, track milestones, coordinate audits, and provide actionable data analysis to improve quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid IAT-2 level certification with one of Security+, GIAC GSEC or (ISC)2 SSCP.
• 2+ years' experience with NMCI business processes and rules.
• U.S. citizen with active secret security clearance.
• Degree preferred in IT, information systems, or computer science.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts across IT system development, implementation, and sustainment to meet DoD and NMCI standards.
• Develop and maintain QA plans, test procedures, checklists, and traceability matrices.
• Track milestones and QA checkpoints using Microsoft Project and Excel dashboards.
• Coordinate audits, reviews, and inspections (CCB, TRB, Acceptance).
• Provide data analysis, performance metrics, and trend reporting for QA.
• Serve as liaison with NMCI reps, engineering teams, and customers to resolve QA issues.
