Job summary

Empower AI is seeking a senior Program Manager IV to lead DoD IT service programs for Army customers in the Roanoke/Radford, Virginia area. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, PMP or DAWIA, and strong leadership and communication skills.

This fully on-site position supports infrastructure, platform, and application services with engaging senior government stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years of DoD/federal IT program management, cloud experience, and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
8–12+ years of program management experience supporting DoD or federal IT programs.
Active DoD Secret Clearance - required at time of hire.
Active PMP or DAWIA Level III certification in Program Management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior government officials.
Must be available to work fully on-site in the Roanoke / Radford, Virginia area.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT service programs.
Serve as primary point of contact for government customers including senior Army leadership.
Develop and manage program plans, schedules, risk registers, and performance metrics.
Oversee acquisition planning, contract administration, and procurement activities.
Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and logistics teams to ensure service delivery.
