Job summary

CompQsoft Inc. in Fort Meade, MD seeks an experienced IP Network Engineer to join the DISA program team. You will design and validate network architectures, implement MPLS/IPTPE services, and support DoD network security across large-scale deployments.

Required DoD program experience, BGP/MPLS expertise, and Cisco/Juniper router proficiency. The role involves Tier III support and close collaboration with mission partners.

Qualifications

• DoD or government program experience preferred; DISA experience a plus.
• BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience with large enterprise or DoD IP design running BGP/MP-BGP and MPLS routing.
• Extensive router regression testing experience with Cisco ASR9K routers.
• Strong routing protocols experience: BGP, MPLS/RSVP, OSPF, IS-IS, Multicast, VPNs, CsC.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and study complex system requirements.
• Design tools and subsystems to support reuse and analyses and manage their implementation.
• Develop and validate system architecture.
• Develop and support lifecycle engineering of network architecture.
• Support QoS policies, requirements, and testing.
• Provide Tier III technical support and oversee Tier III engineers.
• Configure MPLS services (L3VPN/L2VPN/VPLS/CsC) on IPTPE; test platforms (Juniper/Cisco).
• Provide security design, testing, and deployment for DoD networks.
• Review security requirements and propose solutions.
• Deliver test plans and documentation for configuration management.
