Job summary

Significance Inc. seeks an Internal Controls and Audit Support Analyst for the USTRANSCOM program at Scott AFB, O’Fallon, IL. The role requires an active Secret clearance and is five days onsite.

You will support financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP compliance while assisting in AFR preparation, SOP updates, and DTS program administration. A DoD background and proximity to the St. Louis metro area are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 0–5 years experience in a related position, preferably DoD-focused.
• Candidates must be located in the St. Louis, MO / O’Fallon, IL metro area.
• Must report to Scott AFB at least 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial reporting and accounting operations support.
• Identify non-conformance with GAAP, recommend CAPs and corrective actions.
• Assist in annual AFR preparation and COSO/OMB A-136 compliance efforts.
• Develop and update SOPs and business process narratives.
• Support Defense Travel System (DTS) programs administration.
• Assist TWCF Governance Board with agendas, briefs, and minutes.
• Perform data cleanup and variance reconciliation efforts.
