Job summary

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to oversee the cybersecurity compliance of the Fort Buchanan microgrid control system. The role includes RMF/STIG implementation, documentation, and coordination with ERP security and government stakeholders.

Remote/hybrid with on-island validation in Puerto Rico as required. The position requires 5+ years of DoD or high-assurance system security experience, STIG/SRG familiarity, vulnerability scanning, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Current certification satisfying DoD 8570 IAM Level II before beginning work.
• At least 5 years securing DoD or other high-assurance systems, including hands-on RMF processes.
• Experience with DISA STIGs/SRGs, vulnerability scanning, network/device hardening, documentation.
• Ability to satisfy applicable CUI, system-access, background, and installation-access requirements and travel to Puerto Rico for field testing.

Responsibilities

• Own cybersecurity interpretation and compliance for applicable control-system requirements.
• Develop STIG/SRG applicability, interconnection schedules, risk assessments, and protection-of-information-at-rest proposals.
• Review devices, operating systems, accounts, services, ports/protocols, logging, backups, and patches for hardening evidence.
• Coordinate with ERP security stakeholders and contractor teams for RMF/CMMC processes.
• Lead or witness cybersecurity test procedures, scans, findings correction, retesting, and evidence packages.
• Ensure authorized handling of FCI/CUI using approved systems and procedures.
