Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Cedar Park, TX seeks a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to develop, implement, and maintain security for DoD/IC programs. You will support the Director of Security and manage security across SCIF environments, ensuring compliance and readiness for launches and space vehicle programs.

Responsibilities include SCIF maintenance, interface with customers, incident investigations, and full lifecycle handling of classified material.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with TS/SCI and willing to pass a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years IC/DoD security experience.
• Deep knowledge of NISPOM, SAP/SCI regulations and security databases.
• Experience with SCIF management and security program execution.
• Ability to communicate with all management levels and resolve clearance issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise security programs for DoD/IC programs.
• Lead SCIF maintenance, access control, and procedural training.
• Interface with customers and ensure compliance for security solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Manage classified material handling, storage, and destruction.
• Lead IC security assessments and PERSEC activities.
• Support BD with security for proposals and programs.
