Job summary

PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Systems Integrator & System Administrator in Huntsville, AL to build and operate the GPU-based AI development and training infrastructure on-premises. You will manage NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, containers, and storage, ensuring secure, compliant environments for customer use and on-site demonstrations.

The role requires DoD-like experience, ability to travel, and the ability to obtain CAC and Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in DoD or similarly controlled environment; demonstrated ability considered regardless of total years.
• Hands-on experience building and administering GPU-based Linux systems, including NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, containers, storage/networking for compute workloads.
• Experience securing Linux systems using STIGs, vulnerability scanning, and remediation processes.
• Experience deploying and maintaining containerized systems using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Ability to travel ~25%, including extended on-site support for installation, testing, and reviews.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Secret clearance (CAC).

Responsibilities

• Specify, build, and maintain GPU-based computing, storage, and network infrastructure for AI development, training, and testing.
• Build and maintain development and training environment (Linux, containers, GPU software, storage, backups).
• Secure and maintain systems per STIG, vulnerability management, and CUI requirements.
• Install/integrate systems at customer site and support testing, demonstrations, and issue resolution.
• Manage software, model, and data transfers between controlled environments with proper data handling procedures.
• Develop system administration documentation and support sustainment of the environment.
